Browse available materials and filter by category, location, condition and price to find what you need.

2. Contact Seller

Message the seller through Build Mat Mart to ask questions, confirm material details, arrange an inspection or make an offer.

3. Choose How You Pay

Choose from the payment options offered by the seller:

Secure Online Payment — Recommended Pay securely through Build Mat Mart using Stripe. A Build Mat Mart Service Fee is added at checkout, and the seller’s payout is released once the transaction reaches the required completion stage.

Pay Seller Directly Where available, arrange payment directly with the seller using an agreed payment method. Direct payments are not processed or held by Build Mat Mart or Stripe and do not receive the payment protections available with Secure Online Payment.

4. Receive & Review

Arrange pickup or delivery with the seller. When you receive the materials, check that the quantity and condition match the listing and what was agreed.

Once the transaction is complete, leave a review to help build trust within the Build Mat Mart community.

2. Get Enquiries & Offers

Buyers can message you through Build Mat Mart to ask questions, arrange inspections or make offers. You can accept, decline or counter an offer.

3. Get Paid

Choose how you want to accept payment.

With Build Mat Mart Secure Payment, the buyer pays securely through Stripe and your payout is released once the transaction reaches the required completion stage.

With Pay Seller Directly, you arrange and receive payment directly from the buyer using your agreed payment method.

There are no Build Mat Mart transaction fees deducted from sellers.

4. Build Reputation

Build your reputation by earning reviews from completed transactions.

Choose How You Pay

Build Mat Mart gives buyers and sellers flexibility in how they complete a transaction. Depending on the payment options offered by the seller, buyers can choose Build Mat Mart Secure Payment or Pay Seller Directly.

OPTION 1 — Build Mat Mart Secure Payment

For added payment protection, pay securely through Build Mat Mart using Stripe.

1. Buy Choose your materials and complete your purchase securely through Stripe, integrated with Build Mat Mart.

2. Payment Confirmed Once payment has been successfully processed, the seller can proceed with the agreed pickup or delivery knowing the buyer has completed payment.

3. Receive & Confirm Once the materials are delivered or collected, the buyer checks the materials and confirms receipt through Build Mat Mart.

4. Seller Payout Once the transaction reaches the required completion stage, the seller’s payout is released to their connected bank account.

Secure Payment gives buyers and sellers an on-platform payment process, clear transaction record and added payment protection.

Any applicable buyer service or payment processing fee is shown before payment is confirmed. No Build Mat Mart transaction fee is deducted from the seller’s agreed sale amount.

OPTION 2 — Pay Seller Directly

Prefer to arrange payment yourself? Where offered by the seller, buyers can select Pay Seller Directly and agree on a payment method such as bank transfer, cash or another mutually agreed method.

The buyer and seller arrange payment directly between themselves.

Important: Direct payments are not processed, held or controlled by Build Mat Mart or Stripe and do not receive the payment protections available through Build Mat Mart Secure Payment.

Buyers should satisfy themselves as to the materials, seller and agreed transaction terms before making payment. Sellers should confirm payment has been received where applicable before releasing the materials.

We recommend keeping important communication within Build Mat Mart messaging so both parties have a record of what has been agreed.
